RULE CHANGE REMINDER AND CLARIFICATIONS FOR 2024

  1. No new rule changes for WHI.
  2. Trout and Salmon Slam as well as 1K may add weigh stations.
  3. Added payout of $2,000 (at par) for the overall Canadian team winner based on minimum of 5 teams from Canada entering the WHI. (see website for more information)
  4. Added payout of $2,000 for the overall winner of the new players division based on minimum of 5 teams entering the WHI. (see website for more information)
  5. The WHI will be adding $2,000 to the overall prize structure to the Trout and Salmon Slam.  Additional $1,500 for 1st and $500 for 2nd place will be awarded in addition to the entry payouts.

I hereby acknowledge I have read the tournament rules with the ABOVE RULE CHANGES and do agree to abide by all tournament rules as well as the NYDEC rules and regulations for fishing on Lake Ontario waters.

    ENTRY ALLOWS YOU A CHANCE AT THE $600 A-TOM-MIK BIG FISH OVERALL PRIZE (BIG FISH PAYS $300.00 PER DAY IN A-TOM-MIK GIFT CERTIFICATES - or 1st/2nd if one day is cancelled.)
    50 /30 /20 payout each day- entry money split Saturday/Sunday. If one day is cancelled we will pay out 6 places on the other day.

CANADIAN CHALLENGE

The object of this event is to award the overall winner amongst Canadian only teams, a $2,000 overall prize in CND funds or US (at par).

RULES AND REGULATIONS 

  1. A minimum of 5 teams must enter by the overall deadline.  Since there is no registration, there will be no refunds if less than 5 teams register.
  2. CND payout will be based on US to CND currency exchange rates if paid in US funds, equal to $2,000 CND.
  3. WHI rules apply.
  4. Teams must be registered in main event plus overall to qualify.

I am a citizen of Canada, have read and agree to the rules and regulations of the "Canadian Challenge" and will be participating. I understand that I must enter in both days of the event and the overall in order to qualify to win.

NEWBIE CHALLENGE

The object of this event is to award new teams and captains to the WHI.  The overall winner amongst US and/or Canadian teams will receive a $2,000 overall prize in CND funds or US (at par).

RULES AND REGULATIONS 

  1. A minimum of 5 teams must enter by the overall deadline.  Since there is no registration, there will be no refunds if less than 5 teams register.
  2. CND payout will be based on US to CND currency exchange rates if paid in US funds, equal to $2,000 CND.
  3. WHI rules apply.
  4. Teams must be registered in main event plus overall to qualify.
  5. New Canadian teams can also qualify for this challenge as well.
  6. Your team/team name or reference to team name must not have ever entered the WHI prior. WHI reserves the right to determine the team and/or captain's qualification for this event.
  7. The team captain must not have entered as the team’s captain prior in a WHI.  That captain could have fished on a boat captained by someone else as that team’s main captain (not team member).
